Mostly Macros™ From Spiders to Electronics and physics I started this site to show the world my passion for photography/science despite having serious life challenges. It is my hope to teach as well as to inspire others with life challenges to achieve goals.

I found this interesting fly and was able to capture a
macro of it while it was sunning itself in my back yard.
This very small fly, about 4-5mm I have not been able to
identify yet but it’s facial characteristics are very
similar to that of the Walnut Husk Fly (Rhagoletis sp.)
Family Tephritidae. It is not a Walnut Husk fly-but
even the wing structure is similar to the Walnut Husk
fly which is a kind of Fruit Fly. Tephritidae
(Tephritidae sp.?) You have seen this fly in my
site before but I don’t think I posted this picture yet.
