A NICKEL OF MICRO

I've got a ton of catching up to do--but it will have to wait- This is a nickel I shot
on my desk with a desk flood light.
I have been doing this since I got into optics. I got a
new camera and am testing my macro-micro abilities
on it. This is not the “best macro” or highest mag.
factor–I believe the big pictures are 14-18X as seen
through a conventional microscope. This was a quick
series of pictures at near-micro. I have gear capable
of even higher magnification then this but it would
have been more complex to setup. I just did this while
watching TV on my desk with a conventional light
source.
